The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day Sea Freight and Air freight import clearences and all the related administration including quoting, bookings and import declerations via Cheif. In addition you will need to strive to maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times.
The successful candidate must have experience of Air freight forwarding in both a commercial and operational capacity and ideally sea freight experience. An excellent level of education, be a confident communicator, with good analytical skills and have the desire to succeed in a busy fast paced environment, also the ability to work to strict deadlines, to prioritise workload and work under pressure is essential.
For this Import Clerk role you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £18,000-£26,000, negotiable based on previous experience.
